As we embark on our 20th Anniversary, Yucaipa Athletic Soccer Club Spartans FC would like to announce that we have hired a new and amazing Director of Coaches, Christina Reyes. Christina is a Yucaipa High School graduate who went on to play soccer at the University of Kansas. She played club soccer with various clubs in her youth including, Redlands International, San Bernardino Corinthians, Redlands Los Gauchos, North Huntington Beach FC and Arsenal FC. She has been coaching at Spartans FC for the past 9 years having coached bronze through premier level teams. Christina is also currently the Junior Varsity Coach at Redlands East Valley High School. She has coached Freshmen and Junior Varsity level teams at Redlands, Canyon Springs, and Los Osos High Schools. She has also been the Varsity Coach at Aquinas, San Gorgonio and Rialto High Schools. Christina was the Coach at San Bernardino Valley College and is a National "C" Licensed Coach. She holds an Advanced Regional Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NACAA).
All those accomplishments and credentials aside, Christina is passionate about soccer here in this community and has dedicated many extra hours wherever she has been needed over the years to develop the players at Spartans. We are excited for all that she will bring to help strengthen our coaching staff and in the development of our players.
